For sale: Wurlitzer Pipe Theatre Organ, Granada 1, ex Greenwich. I bought this organ from 2 organ enthusiasts who have lovingly restored the majority of the instrument to a very good condition. The organ was destined to firstly go into a museum by it's previous owners, but sadly that fell through. I purchased the instrument to be installed into a local theatre. However, the cost of installation and structural work required to install the organ into the theatre isn't a priority for the board at the moment, especially with heavy cost of running a provincial theatre. With this in mind, I am testing the water to see if anyone would like to purchase this instrument. It is currently stored in Leeds, UK, however the cost of the storage is some £500 per month - hence my final reason to sell. I suspect the organ could quite easily be packed into a 20ft shipping container, as the longest bass notes are 8ft. We can facilitate the crating and packing if required. The organ is complete (also with blower), apart from a relay, and 95% of the items have been restored. I will not split any of this organ and must be sold as a complete instrument.
