Want to Buy: Roesler Hunholz Player Unit | |
Category: Pipe Organs and Parts | Roesler Hunholz organ player wanted. I am looking for a Roesler Hunholz player unit that would have been hooked to a pipe organ to play paper rolls. These players have a tracker bar that looks like a regular player piano but it will have either 98 or 100 holes, regular 9 to the inch spacing, 11 1/4 inch wide just like a player piano. I am interested in buying a player unit with or without rolls and/or any rolls that may be available. The player may or may not have a Roesler Hunholz name plate on it. Many organ builders used these players so it could be a Kilgen, Reuter, Wicks or any number of other builders. I saw one on a Lewis and Hitchcock organ. There was a version of the player that took large spools much like a band organ style of roll. That is OK also. The paper is still standard player piano width, 9 to the inch holes. There were perhaps three versions of these players. I am primarily interested in the “Consolette” model or the “Concert” model. Others were the “Standard” or the “CR” and perhaps even some other styles. If there is one of these machines sitting around please help me find it. I have a number of the rolls and would very much like to hear it playing the organ in my home. |
