I'm selling my very very rare 1936 Hammond aeolian player organ. Comes with about 30 original player rolls I'm selling this to save for a piano as I already have another organ at home but no piano. This was a very limited and very expensive organ Hammond produced for a short period in conjunction with the aeolian piano/organ company. Aeolian made the custom cabinet and player mechanism. The player function turns on but there are vacuum leaks which prevent it from turning the rolls. Someone had began replacing vacuum lines and bellows cloth but do the portion behind the player unit. Under keyboards the new lines are completed. The organ is in good playing condition otherwise with a few faults. Every key and pedal plays. Could use some contact cleaning as some drawbars are fineky. All pitches/tone wheels play at all octaves regardless so it seems to boil down to the draw bar contacts. Includes a large perfect working Hammond hr40 speaker cabinet that is very powerful and a Hammond dr20 with no amplifier just it's two speakers in top. It does not connect at this time. This Hammond is 36" deep without pedals and weighs about 650 pounds. Professional piano movers will be required to move this. I have moved twice with it and will never consider not using a piano mover. Some damage to the right rear leg that was repaired a long time ago. Overall cabinet is in fairly good shape for its age. $1,000. Best price I can do
